Terms and Conditions of Service

You acknowledge that massage therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, improvement of posture, range of movement and reduction of pain, and improvement of circulation.

  • If you experience pain or discomfort during the sessions that is beyond a constructive kind of pain, you will immediately inform the therapist, so that the pressure can be adjusted to your comfort level.

  • You will not hold your therapist responsible for any pain or discomfort experienced during the session, that you have not advised to the therapist.

  • You understand that the services offered today are not a substitute for medical care.

  • You understand that your therapist is not qualified to perform a spinal or skeletal adjustment or diagnose, prescribe or treat physical or mental illness.

  • You confirm that you have notified the therapist of all known medical conditions and injuries.

  • You agree to inform the therapist of any changes in your health and medical condition. You understand that there shall be no liability on the therapist’s part, should you forget to do so.

  • You understand that massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.

By reading and agreeing to this information, You hereby waive and release your therapist from any and all liability, past present and future relating to massage therapy and bodywork.

JSRM Massage commits time for your bookings. We understand that things change and life gets in the way of appointments, so if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment please make contact as soon as possible and give us notice of at least 24 hours before your appointment. This will give us the opportunity to offer an appointment to others and fill the spot with no hard feelings.

Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to the following cancellation policy:

  • 50% of your appointment cost may be charged for cancellations that are not subsequently filled.

  • No shows may be charged the full appointment fee subject to our discretion.
